SWITCH and the Fintech Festival have been up to the promise. Very intense, packed with meetings, connections and events. As hard as it is to summarize it all, here’s our attempt in pictures.
La French Tech Singapore was here in full force! Not only was it a very nice evening but we had the chance to be able to speak with Peter Ong, chairman of Enterprise Singapore. Guess what : he set the tone for the whole week : “how can we build even more bridges between France and Singapore?”
Again, La French Tech was here to mentor and advise the top 100 startups already selected. A long but really inspiring Saturday!
Altaroad, H3Dynamics, Proov station or Augmented Tribe were some of the gems at the event.
Two of them made it to the end, HUGE CONGRATS to 2 of the 12 winners (out of 2400 initially, please) Ubudu and Beebryte 🙌🚀🤩!
The Fintech Festival didn’t start slow either…8am sharp, Julien Condamines and Marc Abensour, Ambassador of France to Singapore were on the Money FM to come back on the history of La French Tech here in Singapore. The next couple of days were packed with meetings and connections between French startups (both from France and Singapore), together with officials, corporates and organizations from both countries. More than 40 startups came all the way from France for the event! A team work with the Embassy of France to Singapore, the French Chamber of Commerce in Singapore and BPI France.

With so much french presence in Singapore, it was good to celebrate at the Residence de France with the whole ecosystem.
With so many people from the community, from both Singapore and France, we had to organize a networking party, right? Okay, can you spot OVHcloud, WeWork, Dathappy, Neo or Unilever 😉?
We wouldn’t be where we are as a community without the French Tech podcast. Nikolaj Groeneweg and Bill Poorman deserve all of the credit, and we all owe them. Together with the French Chamber of Commerce, we held the 2nd edition of the Asia Startup Summit. A great event to connect corporates with 35 startups, with pitching contests and speed meetings to foster business discussions and projects among the french community, on two different tracks: Fintech and Smart Cities.
